Dr. Erwan Guéguen got a Master degree in Chemistry with specialisation in Solid Chemistry in 1990 (University of Rennes I, France) followed by a PhD in Solid Chemistry in 1994. From 1994 to 1996 he has been working as Post Doctoral Researcher at the University Catholique of Louvain La Neuve, Belgium in the field of Catalysis. In 1996, he joined the Lhoist Group, international lime producer, where he was a Research engineer responsible for Steelmaking and Environmental application. In 2003, he moved to LWB Refractories where he was working as Project Manager in the Refractory application and in 2009, he was appointed   as Director of Research & Development for Europe within the Magnesita group. Since 2017, he is part of RHIMagnesita company in which he is heading the Innovation and Pioneer Research department.
